Homemade Play Kitchen
Erin Woodward, who runs the blog Sutton Grace, has created a fabulous play kitchen for her daughter out of an old entertainment center. You know, the kind you see for sale at almost every garage sale you've ever been to in the burbs. Although the one she used in her reuse project was a bit nicer than those, with some nice detailing along the bottom.Lucky for us, Erin included a thorough step-by-step of the project, so any of us can make our own. Time to go check out some garage sales![via Sono-ma.com]Read the Full Story » | More on CRAFT » | Comments » | Read more articles in Kids | Digg this! blog.craftzine.com |

I've served a Meat Head at my Halloween parties for at least the last five years. It never fails to impress (and distress!) my guests. Wash it well, and make sure it's clean enough to eat off of. Because that's what you're going to do.Read the Full Story » | More on CRAFT » | Comments » | Read more articles in Halloween | Digg this! blog.craftzine.com |
How-To: Coin Purse
Rashida of I Heart Linen guest blogs on Petite Purls with a super cute coin purse tutorial using hinged purse frames. I love the mix of fabric prints she's using, especially that apple one. [via whipup]Rashida writes:Springy hinge purse frames are so fun to use. They come in various sizes and are perfect for making little pouches for coins, makeup, or other accessories. You could even elongate the pieces to make a secure case for your sunglasses. This little coin purse is cute-as-a-button and will keep all that loose change from rattling around at the bottom of your bag. It would even make a great gift for your little one's new teacher!Read the Full Story » | More on CRAFT » | Comments » | Read more articles in Sewing | Digg this! blog.craftzine.com |
