Mancala Board as a Jewelry Organizer
Totally genius. Although I will admit that it makes me want to play mancala with her cute jewelry collection, winner takes all! Pixie in Pumps also cleverly repurposes a coat hook for necklaces and teacups for bracelets. Read the Full Story » | More on CRAFT » | blog.craftzine.com |
How-To: Jumbo Frosted Animal Cookies
When I was a kid, I loved (l-o-v-e-d) the frosted pink and white with sprinkles circus animal cookies from Mother's. Fabulous Felt Container
I am totally swooning over this amazing felt container from A Ervilha Cor de Rosa (a great Portuguese craft blog if you don't know it already). I love the sturdy felt paired with the frilly edging, the rounded shape with the zipper in the middle, the unexpected matching of brown and gray and red ... everything about it, really! What a fun little container for carrying projects around in or storing some of your less-lovely-to-look-at craft materials. (Fingers crossed Rosa puts some in her shop!)Read the Full Story » | More on CRAFT » | Comments » | Read more articles in Arts & Design | Digg this! blog.craftzine.com |

Billion Ghost Pin
Last weekend we had a Halloween pin-making party at Goods Detroit. I think this was my favorite - hard felt cut into a ghost shape with googley eyes, sequins, and lots of zeroes - created by an awesome 4-year-old crafter. Inspired to craft something for Halloween? Be sure to enter it in our CRAFT Halloween contest to win cool prizes. Costumes, decor, food -- whatever you create for Halloween is welcome in the contest. Read our full contest page for all the details. Deadline to enter is November 2.Read the Full Story » | More on CRAFT » | Comments » | Read more articles in Halloween | Digg this! blog.craftzine.com |
