For a compact portable (It's so cute!), you will be amazed at how much sewing information is in it. It's literally a book you can have next to your sewing machine to look up any sort of question you may have in regards to your sewing project. The book is broken up into chapters such as Stitching Basics, Working with Patterns, Shaping to Fit, etc. I like the Needles and Thread chapter which covers in great detail how to choose the right needle for your project and gives the useful tip to start each sewing project with a new needle. I also found out some of the reasons why my needle thread or bobbin thread break during sewing. Most sewing books only graze the surface on this topic.
