Massive Cardboard Fountain Sculpture
Kristena of Thimbly Things points us to this massive fountain sculpture created entirely from corrugated cardboard by artist Jimmy Grashow. The piece took nearly three years to create, and according to Kristena's post, will be installed outside by Grashow in 2011 to be on display until it disintegrates. Brian came in and injected them with a vibrant, sophisticated dose of style, transforming the spaces into rooms any of us would kill to work in. Though a budget of $12,500 was donated by Staples to be divvied up among the schools, covering only some of the supplies, there was no budget for travel.
